Dr. Sharon (Shaimah) Mendoza Dreisbach holds a position as Assistant Professor at Skyline University College in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. She has several years working experiences in various service, hospitality and tourism industries. Her career started at Philippine Airlines and eventually joined Shangri-la's Mactan Island Resort. She also joined the government service under the City Cultural and Tourism Office in her hometown in the Philippines. Her Masters' Degree in Public Administration had given her an opportunity to write a research paper on Ecotourism in Barangay Conel in General Santos City. Her paper was then recognized by the City Government and funded the development of the said Ecotourism destination. She was awarded by the City Government for her work in the Historical Documentation of the Al Klajo Ecotourism. The place was then declared as one of the historical place in the Philippines
