Dina Serhal is Assistant Professor of Computer and Communication Engineering at Rafik Hariri University. She received her BS in Telecommunication Engineering from the College of Engineering at Lebanese University in 2005, her MS, also in Telecommunication Engineering, from the Ecole Polytechnique of Nantes University (France) in 2006, and her Ph.D degree in Telecommunications from the University of Limoges, France, in 2009. Her studies focused on designing and optimizing special types of high gain sectoral antennas (electromagnetic Band-Gap antennas, EBG) for the National Society of Railways in France (SNCF), thus providing high data rates for the passengers. Following her graduation, she worked for two years as research engineer and project coordinator at XLIM Laboratory of Limoges University.
