Scheilla Vitorino Carvalho de Souza graduated in pharmacy in 1994 at UFMG. He completed a master's degree in 1997 and his doctorate in 2007, both in Food Science from UFMG. He is Adjunct Professor of the Department of Food of the Faculty of Pharmacy of UFMG. It operates in the Food Science with emphasis in Management of Laboratory Quality and Food Analysis. The most frequent topics of scientific and technological production are: quality management systems in laboratories, validation of testing methods, assurance and quality control results, interlaboratory programs, proficiency testing, food analysis, residues and contaminants in food .
