Born in KahramanmaraÅŸ in 1977, Prof. Sarıkabadayı graduated from Mersin Science High School in 1994 and from Hacettepe Medical School in 2001. After completing his specialty training in pediatrics at Hacettepe Medical School in 2007, he then fulfilled his military service obligations. From 2008 to 2011 he undertook subspecialty training in neonatology at Zekai Tahir Education and Research Hospital and then completed his compulsory service at Gaziantep Children’s Hospital. In September 2013 he started working as a neonatal specialist at the private Sani KonukoÄŸlu Hospital and in January 2014 he joined SANKO University as an assistant professor of pediatrics. Prof. Sarıkabadayı has been an active football and basketball player throughout his education, and he still finds the time to play and swim whenever possible. He is married and has 2 children.
