Santiago Barraza is a research professor at the School of Business Administration. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Administration and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the National University of the Center of the Province of Buenos Aires. He obtained his Master's degree in European Economics and International Finance from the Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata, Italy, and he made a period of exchange at the Handelshochschule Leipzig, Germany. He obtained his Ph.D. in Finance at the Sam M. Walton College of Business, University of Arkansas, United States, which was joined by the Fulbright Scholarship Program. He has taught at the Sam M. Walton College of Business and the National University of the Center of the Province of Buenos Aires and has divulged its academic research in recognized scientific events such as the Financial Management Association Annual Meeting and the Financial Intermediation Research Society Annual Meeting. Currently, her work focuses on issues of financial intermediation, capital markets, corporate finance, financial crises and monetary policy. In the past he also worked in the private sector, mainly providing consulting services in Argentina and abroad.
