At present, Dr S K Gupta is  working as Professor and HOD, Department of Shalya Tantra, IPGT&RA, Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar, Gujarat since August 2013. He joined the department on dated 8 th August 2007 as a Reader in the same department. he has completed graduation (BAMS) from State Ayurvedic College, Lucknow, UP in 1990 after completing B.Sc . (Biology) and post graduation (M.S. (Ayu) Shalya Tantra) from Faculty of Ayurveda, IMS, BHU, Varanasi in 1995. he was awarded Ph.D. (Ayu) in Shalya Tantra, from Gujarat Ayurved University in 2012. he joined Dayanand Ayurvedic College, Jalandhar, Punjab as lecturer in department of Shalya Tantra o n 6 th January 1996 and became Reader in 2001 in the same department. his professional experience is about 22 years, out of which 9 years as PG teaching and research activities. Total 22 PG scholars have been passed out under him, out of them 14 scholars were supervised as guide and 08 scholars as co-guide. He has published More than 62 research papers in reputed peer reviewed indexed journals and delivered more that 15 guest lecturers at different occasions. Total 03 projects were carried out as PI, out of which 02 were completed.
