"I joined Penang Medical College in 2010 after a long career in the Malaysian Ministry of Health, retiring as senior consultant neurologist and head of the division of neurology at Penang General Hospital, followed by six years in private practice. I was an accredited trainer in neurology and have trained a number of neurologists over the years. I have also been involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in medicine and pharmacy, including as a part-time teacher at the Penang Medical College since its inception. I have been an invited speaker at numerous national level meetings and have also presented and published a number of papers. Co-chairman of expert committee, first edition of Malaysian Clinical Practice Guidelines for Parkinson’s Disease; member of expert committee, first edition of Malaysian Clinical Practice Guidelines for Management of Dementia."
