Prior to joining the current position at CNSU College of Medicine, Dr. Elango was Professor of Medical Education, Director of the Clinical Skills Simulation and Training Center and Director of the Clinical Skills Course at College of Medicine and Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University, UAE. Dr. Elango is a Fellow of American College of Surgeons and Fellow FAIMER (Foundation for Advancement of Medical Education and Research), Philadelphia. He was the International Guest Scholar of American College of Surgeons in 1997 and Visiting Professor to University of Pittsburg and University of Toronto.
