Biography

Ryan M. Combs, Ph.D., M.A., joined the Department of Health Promotion & Behavioral Sciences as an Assistant Professor in July 2015. Dr. Combs received his master’s degree in Politics (Governance & Public Policy) and his Ph.D. in Politics (Health Policy) from the University of Manchester.

Community-based participatory research; qualitative methodologies; health disparities; health literacy; health politics and policy; healthcare systems; social justice; the psychosocial experiences of marginalized groups; intersectionality
