Biography

She holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Santa Úrsula University (1986), a Master's Degree in Biological Sciences (Botany) from the National Museum / Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1992) and a PhD in Biological Sciences (Botany) from the University of São Paulo (1998). He is currently a 1C productivity fellow at CNPq. Full Professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, in the Botany area, with emphasis on Anatomy and Plant Histochemistry. As research lines stand out: plant development, anatomy and histochemistry of gall, and cellular cellular responses to the action of galling organisms.

Research Intrest

Anatomy and Histochemistry of Galls, Anatomy of Vegetative and Reproductive Organs.
