Biography

Rogério Vieira Rossi holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Faculty of Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto - USP, a master's and a doctorate in Biological Sciences, Zoology concentration area, by the Institute of Biosciences of the University of São Paulo. He is currently associate professor of the Institute of Biosciences of the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), where he is accredited as a permanent professor in the Postgraduate Program in Zoology and Postgraduate Program in Ecology and Biodiversity Conservation. He is also a collaborating professor of the Post-Graduate Program in Biodiversity and Biotechnology of the BIONORTE Network. He has experience in the field of Zoology, with emphasis on Taxonomy of Recent Groups, working mainly on the following themes: Systematics and Diversity of Neotropical Mammals
