Biography

Rodrigo Augusto Torres holds Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Catholic University of Santos, Master's and Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Genetics) from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho with a degree from the School of Biological Sciences, University of Nebraska at Licoln, USA . He is Associate Professor in the Department of Zoology, Center of Biosciences, Federal University of Pernambuco. He has experience in the field of Genetics and Comparative Genomics, with emphasis on Animal Molecular Biology, associated with evolutionary issues and conservation of fauna.
