Biography

"Dr. Robert White is the Dean, College of Biosciences (COB) and Professor of Biochemistry of the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He has got a Ph.D. in Biology from Boston College, 1989, M.S. in Biology, Boston College, 1981 prior to which he has completed B.A. in Biology, University of Massachusetts at Boston in the year 1977. His teaching interests include Molecular Biology, Genetics, Hematology. His Research interests are majorly Biomedical Science, Genetics and Hematology. Several Grants/Fundings for his research related works have been granted, such as Identification of Novel Gene Causing Pediatric Hereditary Spherocytosis, Transgene Therapy for Cardiomyopathy in DMD Mouse Model and Novel Therapy for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy: Expressing. Inthis regard he has been awrded Kansas City Research Trailblazer Award. He is the member of the American Society of Hematology. His Physician Specialties include Genetics with Emphasis in Mouse Genetics, Molecular Biology, Hematology. "
