Biography

Robert Germeshausen studied economics at the University of Cologne with a focus on econometrics and energy economics. His master thesis dealt with the econometric estimation of markups (prices deviating from marginal costs) for iron ore producers. Additionally, firm-specific influencing factors on markups were identified. Since February 2014 Robert Germeshausen is a researcher in the research department "Environmental and Resource Economics, Environmental Management" at the Centre for European Economic Research.
