Biography

"Renee joined the Bradley University department of Nursing as a full time Assistant Professor in August 2016. She has been teaching as an adjunct faculty member since 2012 teaching clinical in the med/surg and psych areas. She teaches Gerontology and Adult Med/Surg Practicums. Her background and experience has been in medical-surgical nursing with focus in cardiology. During her career she has worked as a Registry Nurse at Unity Point Methodist and worked Registry at Proctor as a cardiac nurse. She has been teaching as adjunct faculty at Illinois Central College since 2014 instructing CNAs, LPN's and RN's. Professor Pierce developed a passion for teaching and mentoring students while working as a registry floor nurse and practicums and decided teaching fulfilled her lifelong dream."
