Reginaldo dos Santos Pedroso holds Specialization in Clinical Cytology (UNIFAL-MG, 1999), Specialization in Microbiology (Oswaldo Cruz Faculties, FOC-SP, 2000). Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, area: Clinical Analysis (FCFRP-USP, 2004) and PhD in Biosciences Applied to Pharmacy (FCFRP-USP, 2008), with a thesis in the field of Mycology. He is currently Professor of the Technical Course in Clinical Analysis of the Technical School of Health (ESTES) of the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) since 2008; professor and counselor in the Professional Master's Program of the Graduate Program in Health Sciences of the Faculty of Medicine (PPGCS-FAMED-UFU), and tutor and supervisor at Multiprofessional Residency and Professional Health Area, of the Federal University of Uberlândia (COREMU-FAMED-UFU). He has been teaching in the area of ​​Clinical Analyzes and Mycology, Research in the area of ​​pathogenic opportunistic fungi (Candida spp., Cryptococcus spp., Virulence factors, sensitivity to antifungal, molecular profiles by RAPD-PCR) and Extension in the area of ​​health education and intestinal parasitoses.
