During this time she worked at the University of Göteborg, University of Ottawa, University of Queensland and University of Nevada. In 1997 she became Associate Professor at the University of Göteborg. Regina has a broad scientific background in human and animal physiology, particularly in cardiovascular physiology. She has published over 40 papers and review articles within the field. She has detailed knowledge in the area of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular physiology – including human disease pathophysiological mechanisms, medical need, current treatment and related pre-clinical science and capabilities.
