Dr. Razia Akhtar is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Kravis Children's Hospital at Mount Sinai, where she is the Director of Pediatric Neuro-Oncology. Her primary clinical focus is on brain tumors. Dr. Akhtar completed her Pediatric Residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey, and completed her Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where she practiced as an attending physician before coming to Mount Sinai. Dr. Akhtar is board certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology by the American Board of Pediatrics.
