Ranieri Bizzarri graduated and got his PhD in Chemistry as student of Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa, Italy. Since 2011, Ranieri Bizzarri is researcher at the National Researche Council of Italy (CNR), formerly at the Institute of Biophysics (IBF-CNR) and now at the Nanoscience Institute (Nano-CNR). Ranieri Bizzarri is also affiliated to the Nanophysics Department of the Italian Institute of Technology In his career, Ranieri Bizzarri has been doing research at Cornell University (USA), at CNRS - Université de Paris XII (France), and at the Twente University (The Netherlands). Ranieri Bizzarri is author of 50 papers on international peer-reviewed journals (49 on ISI Journals with h-factor: 17), 6 book chapters, 1 patent, and 9 refereed meeting abstracts. Currently, he is advisor of 2 PhD theses in Molecular Biophysics at Scuola Normale Superiore and he has been advisor of several Master and Bachelor's Thesis in Chemistry and Biology. Since 2005 Ranieri Bizzarri has been teaching Molecular Biophysics courses at Scuola Normale Superiore, and since 2011 also at Parma University.
