Biography

He is currently a Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Pretoria, South Africa. He completed his Ph.D. in May 2005 from the Department of Economics, University of Connecticut, USA. He then joined the Department of Economics, University of Pretoria, as a Senior Lecturer in August 2005. He has obtained his B.Sc. (Honours) degree in Economics from the R.K.M.R College, Narendrapur, India, and M.Sc. degree in Economics from the University of Calcutta, India.

Research Intrest

He has keen interest in Monetary Theory and Policy, Business Cycles and Time Series Econometrics.
