Seismology, especially earthquake prediction research and research which in general is aimed at mitigating risks stemming from geohazards. I am currently finishing a long overview article for an international peer reviewed magazine about earthquake prediction research, especially based on the year 2000 South Iceland earthquakes. I am writing a book about advances in earthquake prediction research, which will be published by the PRAXIS publishing company in Britain.
