Biography

Rafael Plana Simões holds a bachelor's degree in Physics from the Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho State University (2003), a master's degree in Materials Science and Technology from the Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho State University (2007) and a PhD in Materials Science and Technology from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio of Mesquita Filho (2012). He is currently Assistant Professor of the Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho. Has experience in the area of ​​Applied Mathematics, Condensed Matter Physics, Molecular Modeling, Materials Science and Technology and Biotechnology Engineering, working mainly on the following topics: modeling and simulation of physical and biological interest systems; development of equipment applied to Health.
