Biography

She holds a degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1995), a doctorate and a Master's degree in Chemistry of Natural Products from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 2001 and 1997 respectively. He is currently associate professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerai and teaches Pharmacognosy, Biosynthesis of Bioactive Natural Products and Homeopathic Pharmacy. He holds a master's degree and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The main lines of research are: Bioprospecting and phytochemistry of Brazilian vegetable species with biological activity, Quality control of medicinal plants, Development of pharmaceutical preparations and Micromolecular chemotherapy.
