Prof. PrzemysÅ‚aw JuszczyÅ„ski graduated from Medicine at the Medical University of Lodz in 2000, and in 2002 received the title of Doctor of Medicine. In 2001-2005 prof. JuszczyÅ„ski was an Assistant at the Department of Hematology, Medical University of Lodz, and in 2003-2008 he worked as a Research Fellow at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, USA. Then, throughout 2008-2010, prof. JuszczyÅ„ski held a position of the Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School / Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. In 2010 he obtained his PhD in Medical Sciences at the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion in Warsaw, and subsequently was appointed as an Associate Professor at the same Institute. Since 2011 Prof. JuszczyÅ„ski also acts as Deputy Science Director at the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion in Warsaw. Prof. JuszczyÅ„ski received numerous awards and prizes for his scientific activities and achievements, including wining twice the Foundation for Polish Science, ICRETT scholarship (International Union Against Cancer, Geneva, Switzerland) and Special Fellow award from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America Career Development Program. In 2014 he was awarded by the jury of the “Polacy z WerwÄ…” contest in the category “Medicine”. Professor’s research interests are focused on the pathogenesis of cancer of the lymphatic system and the development of targeted therapies. Professor JuszczyÅ„ski takes an active part as a Principal Investigator and Coordinator of numerous national and international research projects, as well as publishes in the prestigious scientific journals such as Blood, Clinical Cancer Research, PNAS and the British Journal of Haematology.
Przemysław Juszczyński research interests are focused on the pathogenesis of cancer of the lymphatic system and the development of targeted therapies. Professor Juszczyński takes an active part as a Principal Investigator and Coordinator of numerous national and international research projects, as well as publishes in the prestigious scientific journals such as Blood, Clinical Cancer Research, PNAS and the British Journal of Haematology.
