Professor M V Sangaranarayanan obtained his Ph.D from the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore and was an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow at the University of Bonn, Germany. He is presently a Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology-Madras, Chennai. He has published 120 papers in refereed International Journals and co-authored two text books.
His research interests encompass various aspects of statistical mechanics, interfacial electrochemistry, conducting polymers, nano materials, biosensors and supercapacitors.
