Adam Herout received his Ph. D at Faculty of Information Technology, Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic, where he works as a full professor and leads the Graph@FIT research group. His research interests include fast algorithms and hardware acceleration in computer vision, with his focus on automatic traffic surveillance. Herout is a co-founder of angelcam.com and is in multiple ways active in commercialisation of research in computer vision and surveillance.
