Prof. Dr. Mansur-ud-Din Ahmad started his professional carrier as lecturer in the department of Microbiology, University of Agriculture Faisalabad in 1983. In 1985, he joined Pakistan Agriculture Research Council (PARC) as Scientific Officer (Talent Pool). In 1985 he was selected as Senior Scientific Officer in PARC. He joined College of Veterinary Sciences, Lahore in April 2002 as Associate Professor in department of Microbiology. He served as chairman department of Microbiology and initiated B.S. Applied Microbiology program in the department. He was selected as Professor in December 2007. He joined department of Epidemiology and Public Health in 2008 and worked as Professor/Chairman of the department. He was awarded merit scholarship by Aus-AID for PhD studies at James cook University, Australia. He completed his PhD in the subject of Microbiology under the supervision of Prof Dr. G.W. Burgess. Apart from his postgraduate research, he also served as demonstrator for undergraduate teaching at James cook University, Australia. He has several publications in highly ranked impact factor journals and participated in various international conferences in various countries including USA, Australia and Turkey. Currently he is supervising MPhil and PhD student and has collaboration with world-renowned scientists and institutions in USA, Australia and New Zealand.
