Biography

Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf is currently Chairing the Department of Parasitology, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore-Pakistan. He graduated with Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from College of Veterinary Sciences, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad-Pakistan. He holds Master of Science (Hons.) with specialisation in Parasitology, from university of Agriculture, Faisalabad-Pakistan. He graduated with a doctorate (PhD) degree in Parasitology from University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore-Pakistan. During his doctoral studies, Kamran Ashraf investigated different aspects of Ancylostoma. Dr Kamran Ashraf frequently called upon by selection boards of Punjab Public Service Commission and other public and private sector universities. Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf has also served as external examiner for postgraduate students in many universities. Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf has worked in the department of Livestock and Dairy Development Department, Punjab, Pakistan. Along with his duties as a distinguished professor in the department, he also served as Registrar of University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore.
