I was born and raised in Fiji. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Literature/ Language and History Politics, Post Graduate Certificate in teaching as well as a Certificate in teaching English as a second language. I have worked in a variety of teaching environment ranging from local high schools, the University of Queensland and the International School Suva. I spent 6 years teaching English as a second language to Asian students at the University of Queensland. I joined the University of the South Pacific in year 2010 as a teaching staff in the Faculty of Arts, Law and Education. My interest lies in the areas of visual art and animal care. I was part of the inaugural Red Wave Artists’ based at Oceania Center, USP and have exhibited my art work at the Center on a number of occasions. Currently, I am working towards a Post Graduate Diploma in Development Studies.
