Pedro Henrique Benites Aoki holds a bachelor's degree in Physics from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP (2008), a master's degree (2011) and a doctorate (2014) in Materials Science and Technology from the POSMAT / UNESP program. He has experience in the field of Materials Science, with emphasis on organic molecules and their applications, mainly in the following subjects: i) studies on interactions of materials of biological interest in cell membranes models based on giant unilamellar vesicles (GUVs) and thin films (Langmuir, Langmuir-Blodgett and Layer-by-Layer films); (ii) fabrication of supramolecular structures for optoelectronic devices, sensors, and biosensors; and (iii) characterization of materials by vibrational and electronic spectroscopy, with an emphasis on surface-amplified Raman scattering (SERS) technique.
