I graduated in Human Nutrition & Dietetics (5 year degree) from University of Porto, Portugal, in 2000. Subsequently, I came to the UK and graduated in 2001 with an MSc in Clinical Nutrition & Immunology from University of Surrey Roehampton and in 2007 with a PhD from Roehampton University (degree awarded by University of Surrey) (Title of Thesis: "RNA and protein turnover in premature infants with necrotising enterocolitis").
