Senior Research Associate
Division of Materials Physics
Rudjer Boskovic Institute
Croatia
He was born in Derventa, Bosnia and Hercegovina, on March 14., 1960. In 1983. He graduated in physics at the Faculty of sciences, University of Zagreb. He defended my MS. degree thesis in 1987 at the Faculty of sciences, and his PhD thesis in 1992 on Ruder Boskovic Institute. From 1983 till 1986, he has been employed at the Department of Physics, University of Zagreb, as an research assistant. From 1986 to 1997 he work at Ruder Boskovic Institute. From 1987 till 1989 he also taught electronics on Pedagogical Faculty, University of Osijek. Scientifically, from 1983 till 1986 he has been investigating conductivity and magneto resistance amorphous metallic glasses and structures of amorphous metallic glasses using mainly small angle X-ray scattering techniques. Since July 1987 he work on synthesis of binary and ternary semiconductors, and investigate their optical and structural properties using infrared and Raman spectroscopy as well as numerical modelling. Recently he is occupied by research of thin films (semiconductor: amorphous and nanocrystalline Si; and metallic: W, AlW, CW) as well as multilayers and quantum dots structures (Si and Ge in SiO2).
