Biography

Paul Christodoulides was born in Limassol, Cyprus. He studied Mathematics at the University of Bath, U.K. He continued his studies to obtain a M.S. degree in Applied Mathematics at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, USA and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at the Université de Nice–Sophia Antipolis, France. He then worked as a Research Fellow at Monash University, Australia and as a Lecturer/Assistant Professor at Frederick Institute of Technology and the Higher Technical Institute, Cyprus, prior to joining CUT.

Research Intrest

His research interests lie mainly in Fluid Dynamics, and in particular, in the study of nonlinear and dispersive waves, in the study of fluid impact on structures, in microfluidics, as well as in problems of energy and heat transfer and in applications of dynamical systems.
