Patrick Della Croce joined Franklin in August 2013, during the final months of his Ph.D. research project. He is currently Assistant Professor of Biology and Environmental Sciences. He was born and raised in the Lugano area but he studied Environmental Sciences at the Swiss Institute of Technology in Zurich (Switzerland), where he specialized in Biology of Aquatic Systems

His reserach interests include the use of simulation models in ecological studies, fish biology, fisheries management, and biology / ecology of invasive species
