Biography

Patrick Edsall, PharmD, RPh, completed his doctoral work at the University of California, San Francisco’s (UCSF) School of Pharmacy. During his tenure, he trained in the clinical use of pharmacotherapy in both community and hospital settings and completed research on modeling the interaction of potential drugs with their neural targets. Following his initial training, Dr. Edsall completed an Academic Residency at UCSF, where—in addition to his clinical duties—he studied medical education alongside UCSF medical students. During his residency, Dr. Edsall lectured and facilitated small-group work to prepare students for their clinicals. As a licensed pharmacist in the state of California and a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in Dominica, Dr. Edsall has worked in various health systems and provided patient care in multiple hospitals. His previous professional experience also includes working in an advisory capacity for the development of patient care software.
