Professor Yazbeck is a Professor of Anesthesia and Critical Care at the St Joseph University,Beirut and has been a full time physician in the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care at Hotel-Dieu de France Hospital since 1982. She is also President of the Pan Arab Federation of Societies of Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Management (PAFSA), a Regional Section of the WFSA.
