Dr. Phung received her PharmD from Northeastern University and completed a two-year Outcomes Research Fellowship at the University of Connecticut/Hartford Hospital Evidence-Based Practice Center. She is trained in conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses, with research interest specifically in treatment of diabetes and other metabolic syndromes. Dr. Phung is interested in teaching evidence-based clinical practice and research methodology. Her research expertise lies in conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses (including Bayesian mixed-treatment comparison), with emphasis in the treatment of diabetes and other aspects of the metabolic syndrome.
