Biography

Dr. Ann Nkechi Okolo (Mrs.) is happily married to Ichie Paul Ndubisi Okolo. She was born in May, 29th 1954 and an academic staff in the Department of Educational Foundations, Faculty of Education, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria. She attended St. Cyprian’s Teacher Training College, Nsukka and obtained Teacher Grade II certificate in 1976. In 1983 she obtained Associateship Certificate in Education. She read Principles and Methods of Education in her First Degree and obtained Second Class Honours, (Upper Division) in 1986. In 1989, she obtained Masters Degree in Educational Administration and Planning. In 1996, she obtained another Master’s Degree in Sociology of Education. In the year 2000, she obtained Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Sociology of Education all from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. On 14th November 1997, she joined the services of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka as an Assistant Lecturer. In 1999 she rose to the rank of Lecturer II. In 2002, she became Lecturer I. In 2005, she rose to the rank of Senior Lecturer till date.
