Dr. Norbert W. Seidler has received his PhD in Biochemistry University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences Newark, New Jersey during the period of 1988. Currently, he is working as Professor of Biochemistry in Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Assistant Professor of Biochemistry from September 1991 to June 1995 and Associate Professor of Biochemistry July 1995 to March 2000 in Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience, Department of Biochemistry. His research has included Zebrafish Neurobehavior, Alzheimers Disease, Anesthesiology, Protein Structure and Function. Based on this research and fellowship training, he has received several awards and honors, such as Awarded honorary membership in Sigma Xi Research Society, Faculty Research Publication Award, KCUMB, Outstanding Faculty Oral Research Presentation Award 11th Annual KCUMB Research Symposium, Governor’s Excellence in Teaching Award Governor Bob Holden, Springfield, Missouri, Outstanding Faculty Oral Research Presentation Award 12th Annual KCUMB Research Symposium and many others. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Journal of Anesthesia and Clinical Research (2010-present); Advances in Anesthesiology (2013-present) and expert Reviewer for journals like Amino Acids (2011); BBA-Molecular Basis of Disease (2004, 2005); BBA-General Subjects (2006); Biochemical Journal (2011); Biochemistry (2006, 2007); Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology (2013); FEBS Letters (2007); Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry (2011, 2006); Neurochemical Research (2009); The Protein Journal (2010). He has authored several research articles. He is a member of American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Biophysical Society, Protein Society, International Maillard Reaction Society.
