Dr. Tayem obtained his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Wichita State University in Kansas, USA. He started his carrier in 2005 as a Senior RF engineering working on cellular network optimization and design with Sprint Nextel Communication Company in Florida-USA. He moved in 2006 to West Virginia University as a Visiting Assistant Professor for one year. He taught several courses in the areas of communication systems and digital signal processing. In 2007 he worked as a postdoctoral research follow at Louisiana State University, Louisiana, USA. He worked on research projects for Aerospace Sensor Networks Technology Thrust, Minority Leader's Program, and AFRL/Clarkson Aerospace. During the period 2008-2009 he was appointed as a visiting Assistant Professor at Miami University, Ohio-USA teaching Electrical Engineering courses and laboratories and was also involved in conducting research.
Signal Processing Algorithm for Wireless Communication System, Array Signal Processing, Source Localization, MIMO system, Channel Estimation, and OFDM and OFDMA Communication Systems.
