Coach Nick Becker is in his third year as the head coach for the University of Jamestown Jimmies. During his first year he provided the Jimmie soccer team with their most wins since 2005, and their first conference tournament appearance since 2005. Since the 2012 season, the program has produced 8 all-conference players as well as 5 academic all-conference selections. The Jimmies will look to continue their success in the newly formed North Star Athletic Conference. Prior to Jamestown, he worked as the director of personal training for 2 years. During that time he coached for the South Dakota ODP program, Hub City Soccer club, and ran skills and conditioning camps. Coach Becker was also a graduate assistant at Northern State University for the women's soccer program from 2008-2010. Prior to that he played club, SD ODP, high school, and four years of college competition. He finished playing at Presentation College he was both an All American and an Academic All American. In 2010, Coach Becker earned a Master's of Science in Education at Northern State University. Before that he earned a Bachelor of Science (Magna Cum Laude) in Health & Wellness, along with a minor in Coaching, at Presentation College in 2008. Coach Becker has taken a number of USSF coaching courses and currently holds his USSF “A” license. Coach Becker currently resides in Jamestown with his wife Tonya and three kids.
