Biography

"Dr. Navneet Singh Chaudhary has received his PhD in Protein Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Department of Biotechnology, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee), Roorkee-247667, India, during the period of 2009. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology,University of Rajasthan. His ongoing Research Projects include “Identification, Isolation and Characterization of Anti-Alzheimer’s Disease Compounds (AcetylCholinesterase Inhibitors) from Natural Sources” SERBDST Govt. of India 2013(funding agency); “Functional and Structural Characterization of Ribosome Inactivating Protein with Lectin Activity from Momordica dioica” Dr. Pallavi Vyas DBT, Govt. of India 2012(funding agency). He is Life Member of “Indian Biophysical Society” (IBS) and “The Indian Science Congress Association”. A professional body under Department of Science & Technology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. He has received national and international awards like  Awarded with “Best Presentation Award” in an International Conference on ‘Recent Trends in Agriculture, Veterinary & Life Sciences’ organized by School of Studies in Zoology and Biotechnology, Vikram University, Ujjain during January 30- 31, 2015  A “Fast Track Young Scientist Research Project” awarded by Department of Science & Technology- Science and Engineering Research Board (DST-SERB), Govt. of India in October 2013 (Project Registration No. SERB/LS-376/2013).  Indian Science Academies awarded “Summer Research Fellowship Award 2013” for two months duration to conduct research work at CSIR-Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad, India.  DBT (Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India) awarded a research grant under the RGYI (Rapid Grant for Young Investigators) Scheme-2012 (Project Registration No. BT/PR6783/GBD/27/487/2012).  Selected and Awarded with free participation in ‘EMBO Global Exchange Lecture Course’ on “Structural and Biophysical Methods for Biological Macromolecules in Solution” organized by EMBL (European molecular Biology Laboratory) Hamburg, Germany and CSIR- Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad, India, during 29 November – 06 December 2012.  Received Travel Grant award by Piramal Life Sciences, in Nov. 2012 for attending an International Symposium on “MIF in Health and Diseases” at Piramal Research Center, Mumbai, India Nov. 1-2, 2012.  DST (Department of Science & Technology) Rajasthan awarded a minor research project in Feb., 2011 (Project Reg. No. F.7(7)S.T./R&D/SP/2010/6911)  Awarded “Senior Research Fellowship” (SRF) by UGC in 2007 (July 2007 to June 2009).  Awarded “Junior Research Fellowship” (JRF) awarded by UGC in 2005 (July 2005 to June 2007).
