Nagla Rizk is professor of economics & founding director of the Access to Knowledge for Development Center (A2K4D), School of Business, AUC. Rizk is a faculty associate at Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University & an affiliated fellow of the Information Society Project at Yale Law School. Rizk is member of the Executive Committee of the International Economic Association, the steering committee of the Open Africa Innovation Research Project (Open A.I.R.) & a founding member of the Access to Knowledge Global Academy. She wrote the National Strategy for FOSS in Egypt. At AUC, Rizk served as associate dean for graduate studies and research, School of Business & chair of the economics department. She taught at Columbia University, Yale Law School & University of Toronto.
