Biography

N. Sakthivel major research interests focus on microbial metabolites, enzymes and bionanomaterials and their biotechnological applications. He has been particularly interested to explore the potential of plant-growth promoting rhizobacterial strains of fluorescent pseudomonads and bacilli for sustainable agriculture and also to understand their genetic and functional diversity. He has 88 publications. He has Best Teacher Award, (2009) Pondicherry University, India. Biotechnology Overseas Associateship Award, (2009) Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi.
