Biography

Muhammad Humayun Kabir completed B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. from Department of Mathematics, Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. He also received M.Phil. degree in Applied Mathematics from the same Department. Mr. Kabir obtained M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from Department of Mathematics, Università Degli Studi di Milano, Italy under Erasmus Mundus Europe Asia (EMEA) program. Currently, Mr. Kabir is doing Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences at the Meiji Institute for Advanced Study of Mathematical Sciences (MIMS), Meiji University, Japan under GCOE research program. Mr. Kabir has been working as a fulltime faculty member in the Department of Mathematics, Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh since 2009. His research interest involves Mathematical Modeling aided understanding of Biological Phenomena.

Research Intrest

Reaction-Diffusion Systems; Mathematical Ecology; Population Dynamics; Numerical Methods for PDEs.
