Biography

Monica Rosa Bertao holds Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences (BSc and Bachelor's degree) from the State University of Londrina (1987), Master's degree (1993) and Doctorate (1998) in Genetics and Plant Breeding by Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (USP). She is currently an Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Sciences and Letters of the Paulista State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho", Campus of Assis. Has experience in the field of Plant Genetics, with emphasis on Cytogenetics and Plant Biotechnology. He works in the educational area with Innovative Methodologies in Higher Education and in the extension area with Sustainability and Waste Management.
