Monica M. Farley, MD is a Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, the Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases and a Staff Physician at the Atlanta VA Medical Center. Her career at Emory University is notable for her extensive service to the University, the School of Medicine and the Division of Infectious Diseases while attaining international recognition as a researcher in both basic laboratory science and epidemiology. Dr. Farley is the recipient of many awards for her service and achievements including the Department of Medicine’s Nanette K. Wenger Distinguished Service Award; the Infectious Diseases Division’s Paul B. Beeson Faculty Recognition Award the Southern Society for Clinical Investigation’s (SSCI) Founder’s Medal; and she was elected to the Emory University President’s Advisory Committee (PAC) in 2014.
