Monica Billger is Professor and Head of Division at Architectural Theory and Method. Monicas research focuses on visualisation, specifically the way light and colour are experienced. Her goal is to create a fundamental knowledge and understanding of how light and colour are experienced by different groups of people, especially people with vision defects. Through this she is working to find strategies and methods for the use of visualization in planning stages. Monica lectures on colour and also teaches doctorate courses within MISTRA Urban Futures. Monica is a member of CEEBEL Board of directors, Visual Area Lindholmens leadership team and the committee for artistic research and education at Borås University.
