Dr. Mohammad Taghi Jahandideh has been a lecturer and assistant professor of Mathematics at the Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan/Iran, since 1987. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mathematics at Shiraz University in 1984 and 1987, respectively. He received his PhD in Mathematics from Dalhousie University in 1997, and eventually earned his spot as an assistant professor at Isfahan University of Technology/College of Mathematics. After his fourteen-year career as one of the faculty members there, Dr. Jahandideh decided it was time for a change of scenery (and weather) and moved to Ottawa/Canada, where he was offered a research grant at University of Ottawa. There he was able to apply his knowledge in mathematics in analyzing and modeling financial market activities. He restarted his works at Isfahan University of Technology in 2008. In addition to teaching, Dr. Jahandideh has been a contributor to several Journals in Mathematics, Statistics, and Finance. He recently collaborated on several manuscripts with his students, in which he and his students presented research compiled during the PhD Program of those students.
