He did his Bachelors in Electronics 1989, and completed Master of Computer applications in 1994. He also acquired a diploma in Oracle and E commerce from the University of Toronto, Canada. His Ph.D. thesis was on "Cloud Computing Challenges and Issues" in the year 2015. With over two decades of teaching experience in United Arab Emirates and Canada coupled with the industry experience of working with Royal Bank of Canada as technical systems analyst. Dr Abdul Salam during his engagements at RBC involved with IBM Web sphere Transformation Extender and liaise with software giants Infosys and Wipro on J2EE off shore projects in wealth management of RBC.
